Job summary
Royal Free Anaesthesia provides a comprehensive range of general and specialist perioperative services for both adults and children. The main operating suite at the Royal Free Hospital comprises 16 theatres on the 3rd floor, including 1 purpose-built hybrid vascular theatre. 3 further theatres on the 1st floor to support a busy hand trauma service and ophthalmic surgery. There are 2 obstetric theatres within the labour ward suite. Anaesthetic services also support a, interventional radiology and cardiology unit (IRCU) and an Emergency Department.
Main duties of the job
Royal Free with the recent opening of a dedicated Enhanced Postoperative Integrated Care (EPIC) unit to complement the existing Intensive Care Unit facility by providing the highest quality and innovative perioperative care to our unique complex major surgical population.
