Job summary

Transformation Support Assistant - Permanent - 37.5 hours

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Transformation Team and make a difference to the services we offer.

The role will support the Transformation Team providing comprehensive, professional and responsive administrative, project management and improvement support to the team. The post holder will assist the team in the delivery of transformation and improvement projects across the organisation, in line with the Trust's improvement process and project management approach. The post holder will be expected to exercise initiative with an understanding of the objectives of the Trust.

The post holder will be an organised and highly motivated individual who can work autonomously and as part of a team.

Main duties of the job

The Transformation Support Officer at Stockport NHS FT and Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHS FT will support the Transformation Team to:

Provide project, transformation and improvement support to the Transformation Team including supporting and enabling delivery of the Trust's key transformation programmes and projects; Provide administrative support to the Transformation Team including organising and coordinating transformation programme and project meetings and events. Support and enable the development of the Trust's improvement processes to be promoted and provided effectively including development and maintenance of the team microsite, organising and supporting delivery of training and briefings, coordinating annual reports and Trust awards applications.

Person Specification

Education & Qualifications Essential

GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English Evidence of recent and on-going relevant learning and development

Knowledge Essential

Knowledge and understanding of Quality Improvement and business change approaches Knowledge and experience of a full range of administrative processes Excellent working knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office and Windows systems

Experience Essential

Previous experience of working in an office based administrative role Experience of maintaining accurate records Experience of organising or supporting meetings

Desirable

Understanding of improvement approaches or methodologies Experience of working with senior colleagues (clinical and non-clinical) Experience of working in an NHS, social care, public sector or voluntary environment Experience of working within a project office environment Experience and skills in Canva
