About you
You will be a CCAB-qualified accountant with strong NHS finance experience and a passion for delivering high-quality financial information.This role offers an excellent opportunity to further develop your career at a senior leadership level, with exposure to Executive and Board decision-making and experience across financial control, governance, treasury and capital.You may already be operating at this level or looking to broaden your experience in a supportive and forward-thinking finance team, where you will play a key role in shaping the Trusts financial strategy and developing others.You will be confident working with senior stakeholders, able to influence and challenge where required, and committed to continuous improvement.
Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
Professional Chartered Accountancy Qualification (CCAB) Educated to Degree level or equivalent
Experience Essential
Extensive senior NHS finance experience with experience of managing, motivating, and developing a team. Extensive involvement with statutory reporting, financial planning, forecasting and the production of robust financial information for Boards and Committees. Experience of developing and embedding new financial control and governance arrangements.
