Job summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Practice Nurse to join our well-established nursing team. Practice Nurses are key part of our clinical team and essential in managing chronic diseases as well as wound care, cytology, immunisations and other treatment room services.
The post holder will work with reference to practice agreed protocols, policies and guidelines, providing nursing treatments to patients both independently and in participation with nurse colleagues.

We are seeking an experienced Practice Nurse with a minimum of two years experience in a general practice setting. In addition to the skills outlined above, the successful candidate will demonstrate particular expertise in the management of respiratory conditions. They will also be competent in undertaking travel risk assessments and delivering travel clinic services.

Qualifications Essential
Registered Nurse with the NMC Asthma Diploma or Certificate or equivalent COPD Management Course Competent in carrying out travel risk assessments
Desirable
Respiratory Care modules at Level 6 or Level 7 (degree/postgraduate level)
Experience Essential
2 years in General Practice setting
