Job summary
We are looking to recruit dedicated and skilled Band 6 Diagnostic Radiographers to rotate between General X-ray and CT at the County Hospital Imaging Department, part of the wider UHNM family of Imaging Departments which include Royal Stoke, Haywood Hospital and community units.
Located in the county town of Stafford, the Imaging department is very well equipped, with 3 DR rooms, 3 DR Mobiles, 1 Digital Fluoroscopy/DR Room, 4 Digital Mobile Image Intensifiers, 3 x Siemens CT Scanners. Our Radiographers undertake a wide range of imaging examinations through a variety of shifts and on-call.

Qualifications and Reg Essential
oBSc Diagnostic Radiography or DCR (equivalent) oFull HCPC Registration
Desirable
oEvidence of in-house training in leadership or modality related oRelevant post graduate study
Experience Essential
oMinimum of 18 months post qualification experience at Band 5 or above in a NHS organisation oExperience of CR/DR x-ray systems oAwareness and good working knowledge of QA programmes
Desirable
oExperience of a full range of General Imaging services including Theatres, MSK, IP/OPs and trauma imaging oSupervision of junior staff and/or student Radiographers oAdverse incident reporting oEvidence of additional responsibilities on General Modality oExperience in CT imaging oExperience in Red Dot/Commenting Scheme
Skills, Ability and Knowledge Essential
