An exciting opportunity has opened up at Prestwich District Nursing Team for a phlebotomist to joint the team.
Duties will involve taking blood samples from patients within their own homes in the Bury area.
Unfortunately, this role does not meet the criteria required to qualify for sponsorship.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the role will involve obtaining blood samples from patients within their own residence.
Important skills needed for the role are:
Willingness to undertake training to the nationally recognised standards. Ability to work within a team and alone as required. Ability to liaise with patients in a sensitive manner Basic computer skills Ability to work under demanding circumstances and to deadlines Ability to follow protocols and policies Be flexible with working hours Good communication skills
