Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic Weekend Ward Clerk to cover the Surgical Admissions Lounge (CSAL) at Castle Hill Hospital.

Monday to Friday 12.30 - 17.00 but will be required to cover AL so would need to work 07.00-11.30

You will be responsible for updating bed states, admitting and discharging patients, requesting and filing of case notes and general admin duties

Education/ Qualifications Essential

Good standard of general education to GCSE level or equivalent, including Maths and English Language. Good keyboard skills NVQ Level 2 in administration

Previous Administration experience Vocational Level 3 in administration

Knowledge, Training & Experience Essential

Experience of providing a service to patients or customers Experience of using electronic systems Experience of Microsoft Office products
