Main duties of the job The role of a Night Care Assistant at Bosworth Care Home in Weymouth involves supporting residents to live comfortably, safely, and with dignity. As a Care Assistant, you will deliver person-centred care, support residents with bathing, dressing, and oral care, promote independence and choice, and contribute to care plans and reviews. Additional responsibilities include safely administering medication, participating in social activities and outings, and aiding new or existing colleagues for the smooth running of the home. The position offers a pay rate of £13.35 per hour, opportunities for ongoing training and developing qualifications up to QCF level 5, a Refer a Friend bonus scheme, access to a Blue Light Card discount package, and a pension scheme. Experience in care is not essential as training is provided, but candidates should be caring, positive, and reliable. Availability for shifts from 8pm to 8am on a rolling rota, including alternate weekends, is required.

The Role Care Assistant - maternity cover - we currently also have bank roles available
As a Care Assistant, youll play a vital role in supporting residents to live comfortably, safely, and with dignity. No two days are the same, but your responsibilities will include:
Person-centred care: supporting residents with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and oral care while promoting independence and choice
Care planning: contributing to care reviews to ensure support plans reflect individual needs
Medication support: administering medication safely and in line with procedures
Activities & companionship: taking part in social activities, outings, and meaningful engagement within the home
Team support: helping new or existing colleagues through shadowing and teamwork, and supporting the smooth running of the home when required
What Were Looking For
A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK, please note: Under new guidance we are unable to accept skilled or student visas
Caring, positive, and reliable individuals
Previous care experience is not essential, as fully funded training is provided
Opportunity Available:
Night Care Assistant: 42 hours per week, 8pm to 8am on a two-week rolling rota (including alternate weekends) - Night payrate £13.35 per hour
