About this role

Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Paediatric Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU) at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust as a Perioperative Practitioner. Working within one of the Trusts specialist surgical and perioperative services, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, safe, and compassionate care to children and young people recovering from anaesthesia. Based in Leeds, this role forms part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team supporting a wide range of paediatric surgical pathways, ensuring excellent patient outcomes in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

Main duties of the job We are seeking a compassionate and skilled practitioner with strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a genuine passion for paediatric care, committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and experience.
