Job summary
We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Fracture Clinic Administrator / Departmental Coordinator to join our Trauma and Orthopaedic team. This is a key administrative role supporting the efficient day-to-day running of fracture clinics across the Trust.
You will act as a central point of contact for patients, clinicians and other teams, ensuring smooth coordination of appointments and providing a professional and helpful service at all times.
Main duties of the job
Manage patient appointments including booking, cancelling and rescheduling clinics via telephone, letter and face-to-face contactAct as a first point of contact, handling enquiries from patients, clinicians and external agencies in a professional and timely mannerMaintain accurate and up-to-date patient records across Trust systems (e.g. PAS, Bluespier) Support the coordination and smooth running of fracture clinics and departmental activities Prepare, process and distribute correspondence, reports and clinic documentationMonitor and manage clinic stock levels, ordering supplies and liaising with suppliers as requiredEnsure all administrative processes comply with Trust policies, data protection and confidentiality standardsAssist with data collection, reporting and audits to support service performance and improvementWork collaboratively with colleagues and provide cross-cover across sites and departments when required

GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above or equivalent RSA3 Word Processing or equivalent Experience
