QualificationsOne year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-11) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience in processing complex funding documents and reconciling accounts for audit compliance; serving as a financial liaison to resolve disputes; and transforming multi-source data into actionable insights for leadership to drive resource allocation, reporting needs, and enterprise-wide operational improvements. You may qualify for consideration if meeting specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
Major DutiesAnalyzes and processes complex intragovernmental (e.g., G-Invoicing) customer funding documents to ensure timely, accurate revenue recognition and system alignment.Serves as a financial liaison for trading partners, providing comprehensive advisory services on funding alignment, billing inquiries, and agreement execution.Performs detailed reconciliations of funding vs. expenditures, resolving discrepancies and system errors to maintain audit-ready financial records.Evaluates workflows and policies to recommend and implement process improvements that increase throughput and reduce processing backlogs.Develops financial tracking tools and reports to monitor funding status and execution trends, providing actionable data to leadership for decision-making.
