About this role

As Sales & Account Manager (m/f/d) for Experian in the DACH market, you are responsible for managing and expanding relationships with clients in Insurance Industry By combining expert account management with proactive business development, you will drive growth, deliver innovative solutions, and ensure long-term customer satisfaction in a competitive, data-driven marketplace.

Main responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of key accounts, acting as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for clients in Insurance across GermanyIdentify and qualify new business opportunities within existing accounts, developing tailored strategies for account growth (cross-selling, upselling, deeper market penetration)Lead the complete sales process for Experian’s data and software solutions from opportunity identification and proposal development to negotiation and deal closureBuild and maintain a robust sales pipeline by leveraging your network, digital tools, and account insightsApply established sales methodologies to manage the deal cycle, ensure consultative solution selling, and achieve revenue targetsProactively monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to inform account strategy and anticipate client needsAdvocate for clients internally, communicating feedback and market insights to support innovation and continuous improvement of Experian’s offeringsMaintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of all sales activities, forecasts, and client interactions in CRM systemsSupport the alignment of strategic and operational sales initiatives, collaborating closely with marketing, consulting, and delivery teamsRepresent Experian at industry events, trade fairs, and customer forums, enhancing brand presence and expanding your professional networkContribute ideas for ongoing innovation and the further development of industry-specific solutionsCo-organize marketing activities and customer events to drive engagement and brand loyaltyUphold Experian’s values and high standards in every client and team interaction Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related fieldSignificant experience in account management or sales, ideally within data and software in the DACH marketProven track record of growing revenues and expanding relationships within large, complex accountsStrong skills in solution selling, negotiation, and deal cycle management, including pipeline generation and account developmentProficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and digital tools for research, reporting, and client engagementExceptional communication and interpersonal skills in German and English, able to influence stakeholders at all levelsWillingness and ability to travelAnalytical, independent, and results-driven approach with a focus on customer valueDemonstrated ability to adapt to changing client needs and fast-paced environmentsTeam-oriented mindset with high self-motivation and passion for continuous improvementPreferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with established sales methodologies (e.g., Miller Heiman, Challenger, SPIN)Experience in data and software-related sales (SaaS and Cloud solutions) Benefits/Perks:
