Job Description: Supervise an assigned group of team members within the GBS Indirect Operational Procurement team and oversee day-to-day indirect procurement activities, including purchase requisition review, purchase order support, supplier follow-up, catalog enablement, and supplier lifecycle management. Responsible for training, coaching, mentoring, and managing assigned team member workload to ensure alignment with team goals, SLAs, KPIs, procurement policies, and quality requirements. Partner with internal stakeholders, cross-functional GBS teams, suppliers, and broader business partners to support issue resolution, process consistency, simple sourcing activities, preferred supplier utilization, and successful execution of procurement services. Serve as a change champion for the continued growth and maturity of the GBS Indirect Operational Procurement organization by supporting process improvement, documentation, compliance, and efficient delivery of procurement support services in a cost-effective and timely manner. Job duties: • Team Leadership and Performance Management: Train, develop, mentor, and manage day-to-day workload for assigned Indirect Procurement team members; provide coaching, support, soft skills guidance, and focus area review. • Ensure assigned team member alignment with overall team and individual goals and supervise adherence to applicable SLAs and KPIs. • Procurement Operations: Review purchase requisitions for accuracy and conformance with established policies and procedures. • Place purchase orders for indirect materials and services, including supplier follow-up, order confirmations, and tracking information as needed. • Support the supplier lifecycle management process, including supplier catalog enablement, catalog development, and ongoing maintenance. • Simple Sourcing and Supplier Management: Partner with internal stakeholders on simple sourcing activities to encourage diverse and preferred supplier utilization and assist internal customers with simple sourcing and pricing decisions. • Negotiate cost savings and terms when applicable for non-contracted sources. • Interface with internal stakeholders and suppliers on business issues and navigate global interactions with cultural awareness and respect. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the GBS organization and across the broader business to support alignment, issue resolution, process consistency, and successful execution of procurement activities. • Compliance, Quality, and Documentation: Maintain and follow proper ISO procedures, GMP requirements, and applicable Quality Management System processes. • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and communicate applicable policies internally and externally. • Be familiar with FDA Supplier Controls and partner with Supplier Quality as needed on supplier control-related activities. • Maintain all relevant process documentation. • Process Improvement and Change Management: Act as a change champion within the organization and support or lead process improvement opportunities with a continuous improvement mindset. • Conduct supplier market research to identify trends, stakeholder needs, supplier capabilities, and process improvement opportunities. • Comply with applicable laws and regulations, adhere to quality requirements, and demonstrate ethics and integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization. • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Minimum three (3) years of experience with sourcing, procurement operations, or procurement consulting. • Knowledge of ERP systems; Ariba and SAP experience. • Experience leading, supervising, or managing team members, including workload management, coaching, and performance support. • Exceptional organization and attention to detail. • Must be flexible; work schedule is US/EST. • Strong written and verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills. • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. Desired Qualifications • Quality and customer service orientation. • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage by influence and collaborate across GBS teams, internal stakeholders, suppliers, and broader business partners. • Excellent data analysis skills and demonstrated ability to analyze, organize, and report data. • Understanding of supplier management and supplier lifecycle management. • Knowledge of current purchasing practices, simple sourcing activities, and negotiation. • Critical thinker and active listener with good time management skills to work with suppliers and internal stakeholders to define or meet deliverables. • Demonstrable autonomy and drive to operate independently when required, bringing clear thinking and reasoning in the decision-making process. • Project management, change management, or continuous improvement experience. • Demonstrated competencies in simple sourcing of indirect materials and services. • Self-starter: able to understand and anticipate what needs to be done and take required action. • Strong problem-solving skills and good judgment to make important decisions. • Catalog enablement and development experience highly desired. • Experience working in medical device or related industry.
