About this role

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, the Management Accountant will be responsible for delivering high-quality management reporting to drive informed decision-making across the organisation.

So, what goes into making that happen?

Management Reporting and Analysis:

Support the month-end and year end close process (including capex maintenance, payroll uploads and lease accounting) in accordance with reporting deadlinesConduct detailed monthly variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods and provide meaningful commentaryPrepare and deliver accurate and timely weekly snapshots and monthly management reports to the Retail businessPrepare quarterly QBR reports and commentary for the DTC businessAssist with year-end close processes as requiredMonitor financial performance indicators and identify trends, risks, and opportunitiesBudgeting and Forecasting:

Support the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processesAnalyse business performance to improve forecast accuracy and financial outcomesFinancial Control and Compliance:

Ensure integrity and accuracy of financial data and reportingSupport compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory obligationsMaintain effective financial controls and governance frameworksProcess Improvement:

Identify and implement opportunities to improve financial systems, reporting processes, and operational efficiencies, particularly with respect to existing reporting and fixed asset processesContribute to finance transformation and automation initiatives and drive continuous improvement across management accounting functionsIn return, we offer:

That’s enough about us! Here’s what we hope to see from you:

Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in management accounting, commercial finance, or related rolesRelevant tertiary qualifications, CA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualificationExtensive proficiency and working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft ExcelStrong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysisDemonstrated organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasksDemonstrated ability to work independently and as part of the team in a busy environmentExperience working within complex or fast-paced business environments preferredStrong understanding of financial reporting principles and commercial driversExceptional interpersonal skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationshipsAt ASICS, we work together as one team to bring a performance mindset to life every day - Are you ready to pursue your career goals?
