Our Opportunity
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our team! You will be joining our Key Stage Two team, working across a year group to support interventions and learning in the classroom.
Key Stage Two is a fantastic phase to be involved in, as pupils really start to flourish and discover their individual strengths, interests and ambitions.
We support pupils in thinking about and planning for their futures, with a strong focus on inspiring them to believe in what they can achieve. By exploring their interests at an early stage, pupils can begin to see how different areas of the curriculum can act as building blocks towards their long-term aspirations. A science lesson today could spark the curiosity that leads to a future career as a scientist or engineer.

Support the teacher in delivering their lessons and activitiesSupport pupils in a full class environment or in smaller groups under the guidance of the class teacherPrepare lesson activity materialsEssentials Skills:
Relevant NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalentAn awareness of child/young person’s development and learningAn understanding that children/Young people have differing needsGood written and verbal communication skills: able to communicate effectively and clearly and build relationships with a range of staff, children, young people, their families and carersAbility to work successfully in a team
