Parkwood E-Act Academy is seeking a dynamic and inspiring Drama Teacher to join our vibrant team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape young performers, deliver engaging and imaginative lessons, and lead productions that showcase student talent.

You will bring energy, creativity, and passion to the classroom, helping students develop confidence, communication skills, and a love for the performing arts. Working within a supportive and forward-thinking environment, you will play a key role in embedding drama across the curriculum and wider school life.

Key responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging Drama lessons across key stagesInspire creativity, confidence, and participation in all studentsDirect and produce school performances, showcases, and eventsAssess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedbackContribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunitiesWork collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to wider school lifePay range: MPS/UPS - £32,916.00 - £51,048.00

Qualifications and Skills:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualificationDegree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related subjectProven ability to deliver inspiring Drama lessons across key stagesStrong knowledge of drama techniques, practitioners, and performance stylesAbility to motivate and engage students of all abilitiesExperience of directing productions or extracurricular activities (desirable) What are we about?
