Watling Academy is seeking a compassionate and proactive Intervention Support Worker to support students who are disengaged or struggling to access mainstream learning. Working within our dedicated Intervention Centre, you will deliver targeted small‑group and 1:1 sessions that help students re‑engage with their education, rebuild confidence and successfully reintegrate into their lessons.

You will work closely with pastoral, SEND and teaching colleagues to plan and deliver tailored interventions, adapt approaches to meet a range of learning needs and provide in‑class support where required. Accurate tracking, clear communication and a nurturing, consistent presence will be central to your work. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, calm under pressure and committed to helping young people overcome barriers to learning.
