Job summary Are you an experienced Paediatric Audiologist looking to step into a leadership role? We are seeking a passionate, caring and motivatedClinical Lead Audiologist to lead our dynamic Children's Community Audiology Service. In this role, you will act as our Community Paediatric Audiology team's clinical touchstone, overseeing the school screening programme for Cumbria, and managing a diagnostic and surveillance caseload for infants, children and young people. You will work alongside operational and clinical colleagues to shape, audit, and evolve our community-focused service to meet the highest national standards. Hours are negotiable, and we would consider requests to work either full time or part time (minimum 22.5 hours) for the right applicant.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will deliver clinics across North Cumbria, providing Middle ear analysis, Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE), Visual Reinforcement Audiometry (VRA), Performance Audiometry testing and Pure Tone Audiometry.
The postholder will deliver clinical leadership and supervision to the team, and will work in collaboration to ensure that service delivery is safe, effective. caring and responsive.
The post holder will establish close links with NCIC colleagues in Paediatrics, ENT, Newborn Hearing Screening (NHSP) and speech therapyas well as professionals in primary care, 0-19 services and education.

MSc in Audiological Science plus CAC or BSc Audiology or BTEC qualification in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement & Successfully completed both parts of BAAT I and II (Or equivalent) Evidence of CPD Membership of British Academy of Audiology or British Society of Audiology Academy for Healthcare Science registration
