Job summary
To provide a strong and comprehensive administration and clerical support to the children's Neurodevelopmental Pathway. The role will entail dealing with queries from patients and their families, schools, social workers and other external agencies.
Main duties of the job
The ideal candidate will be confident in the use of Microsoft Office packages, Outlook, Word and Excel. Have a good background/experience of working within a busy administration based environment. Be able to answer the phones, upload referrals, assist with printing, filing, typing, format letters plus other administration duties as part of their role.
They must be able to communicate courteously and effectively as they will be the point of contact for schools and parents within the team. Workload varies across the year, so the post requires someone who is able to work well under pressure and who can prioritise different streams of work to meet the changing demands on the service.
There will be an expectation to work across all localities as and when required to support service delivery.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
oGCSE Grade A-C in Maths and English or Functional skills level 2 equivalent
Experience Essential
oExperience of using Microsoft Office applications
Desirable
oPrevious NHS experience or other large public sector organisation would be an advantage oPrevious experience of using an electronic records system would be an advantage oExperience of working in a large busy office environment.
Knowledge Essential
oMicrosoft Office applications oECDL or equivalent qualifications
