Main duties of the job
The Role
We are looking for a dedicated Salaried GP to join our team for 1.7 sessions per week (typically this equates to 25 appointments a week)
Duties include:
Routine face-to-face and telephone consultations.
Administration (e.g., blood results, documents, referrals).
No on Call sessions, unless under exceptional circumstances

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated GP to join our team. We have a strong focus on maintaining a good work-life balance. One of our partners is the Clinical Director of the PCN, offering excellent leadership and integration opportunities. We are a training practice and are supportive of any specialist interests you may wish to develop .

2. Main Duties of the JobThe post holder will manage a caseload of patients, dealing with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering care within the boundaries of your competence, including day-to-day activities such as :
Surgery consultations (face-to-face and remote).
Checking and signing repeat prescriptions and acute prescriptions.
3. Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Provide high-quality medical services to the registered patient population .
Undertake clinics, post-natal checks, child developmental checks.
Refer patients for further investigation or treatment (secondary care) in accordance with local pathways.
Practice evidence-based medicine and adhere to the practice formulary.
Take ongoing responsibility for patients with difficult/complex problems .
Administrative & Record Keeping Ensure clinical records are maintained to good practice standards (manual/electronic) using SystmOne.
Code data accurately to meet QOF, Enhanced Services, and contract requirements .
Deal with administrative tasks promptly (e.g., patient letters, referrals, results).
Education & Training Prepare for and complete annual appraisal and revalidation (GMC requirements).
Participate in significant event reviews (SERs), clinical audit, and Protected Learning Time (PLT) sessions.

Qualifications Essential
CriteriaEssential Qualifications Full GMC Registration with a license to practice. Inclusion on the NHS England Medical Performers List. MRCGP qualification (or equivalent). Experience Experience of working in UK General Practice. Experience of QOF and clinical audit. Experience with SystmOne clinical system . Experience in GP Training/Education. Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Effective time management. Other Commitment to work-life balance (supported by the practice). Own medical indemnity cover (MDO).
