Working Hours: 9-5pm
Base: Peace Children's Centre, Watford
Car Driver Essential - Weekly travel required to other bases in Hertfordshire including Welwyn Garden City, St Albans and Hemel Hempstead.
You will work alongside the current Admin Lead as part of a team of three Administration Leaders supporting Children's Specialist Services.
This is a key leadership role within Children's Specialist Services. You will join the 2 current Admin Leads to: Lead, manage and support administrative staff across Children's Specialist Services Project Co-ordination responsibility - manage and deliver key projects Work across services within Children's Specialist - understanding different pathways and SOPs Deputise for the Business Support Managerwhen required Ensure high standards of quality, performance and customer service Manage recruitment, induction and development of staff Champion and manage digital innovation and continuous improvement across Children's Specialist Services Work closely with clinical teams, service leads, families and partners across the health economy Regularly travel by car to other Trust sites is a requirement of this role You will play a vital role in ensuring services run smoothly and patients and families receive a responsive, high-quality experience.
Main duties of the job We're looking for someone who:
Has strong NHS administration experience Confident and experience in line managing large admin teams and supporting performance (121s, appraisal, performance and sickness management) Confident note taker and communicator at all levels Can manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Communicates with compassion, professionalism and clarity Organised, proactive and solutions-focused Enjoys developing teams and improving ways of working, including embedding digital innovation Confident to manage and conduct staff training sessions and produce training guides You'll be comfortable working independently, handling sensitive information and adapting to changing service needs.

Significant experience in lead administrative roles, ideally within health or public sector services.
