We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Manager to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Wormwood Scrubs a category B Prison located in West London

Hours

The site currently offers a 24-hour service and shift patterns

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm with some adhoc weekends required

Salary

This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £52,790 per annum depending on experience.

Main duties of the job

As a Pharmacy Manager, your responsibilities will vary. You will

Be involved in the planning, organisation and delivery of all pharmacy operational services including dispensary services and treatment rooms. Lead the team of pharmacy support workers in the day to day provision of pharmacy services. Work with the Pharmacist to ensure the service is represented by staff in a professional manner at all times. GPhC registered Pharmacist Technician Available to newly qualified pharmacists and beyond Management and leadership experience Procurement and audit experience (desirable). Relevant post qualifying experience working within a pharmacy environment. Evidence of continuing professional development Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
