About this role

Job summary Step into the role as a Specialist Paramedic with the Isle of Man Ambulance Service, blending urgent care with advanced critical care in one of the most unique healthcare environments in the British Isles. This is an opportunity to apply your expertise with real autonomy, working across a small island where your clinical decisions genuinely shape patient outcomes and where youll be recognised as a clinical leader. Youll practise in diverse and unconventional settings, from remote coastal locations to the side of a racecourse. Delivering highlevel assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and critical care interventions while helping drive an evolving transformation programme. If youre an experienced specialist practitioner looking for a new challenge, this role offers the chance to apply your skills, influence system-wide change, and experience a style of practice that goes far beyond the ordinary.

Main duties of the job Shortlisting will take place on 26th June and candidates will be notified that day if invited to assessment.. If you are successfully shortlisted, there will be an assessment centre held on the Isle of Man on 09/07/2026 (08:00 17:00). Due to the nature of the assessments, we are unable to offer remote assessments. In-person attendance is mandatory. Please note we are unable to offer alternative options.
