Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the dynamic team on Peace ward at Whipps Cross hospital. As part of our commitment to patients we are increasing our nursing work force to meet the needs of our patients and further support our team with their professional development. We are a high turnover with short patient stay department providing excellent patient-centered nursing care and working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team. The post holder will work with the team to ensure that safe and compassionate care is delivered.

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate a proven experience working at a band 6 level or at least 1-2 years working as a band 5, the candidate must evidence their ability to motivate and inspire others and work collaboratively with multi- disciplinary and multi-agency teams to deliver the highest standards of leadership, care, staff support and service delivery. They must have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude to service developments. Main duties of the job

The post-holder will be part of the Peace ward and contribute to the delivery of high standards of nursing care. The post-holder will be required to take charge of specific areas of the Departments and assist in the smooth running and organization of the shift team.

Registered Nurse -Adult Nursing Assessing and support for learners in Professional Practice (Mentorship) Other relevant course

Completed Stroke course

Experience of care assessment of stroke patients
