Job summary
Clinical Associate in Psychology will be supporting the delivery of psychological interventions in the Solar Core Team
As a Clinical Associate in Psychology (CAP) holding appropriate level professional qualifications, supports the provision of highly specialist, multilevel psychology service that is timely, evidence-based, cost effective, culturally appropriate and based on best clinical and professional practice and that meets Solar service objectives, national strategic and policy guidelines, commissioner requirements and user and carer needs and expectations. To thereby help understand, prevent and ameliorate psychological distress and disorder and improve the mental health and wellbeing of local service users
Main duties of the job
Clinical Service Provisions including assessment, formulation and individual and group therapy children, young people and families within Solar Core Team.

First degree in Psychology Completed a BPS-accredited Level 7 Clinical Associate Psychologist apprenticeship Near completion (within 4 months of the closing date of this post) of a Level 7 Clinical Associate Psychologist apprenticeship, with eligibility to be employed as a Band 6 Clinical Associate Psychologist
Desirable
Experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services
