Main duties of the job As a Driver Receptionist for IC24, you'll be integral to the smooth running of our Out of Hours services. This role involves safely transporting duty doctors to home visits, supporting clinicians, maintaining accurate patient records, and helping coordinate workloads with Call Centre teams. Each shift offers a different experience, from welcoming patients at a Primary Care Centre to assisting doctors during home visits. The role requires excellent driving skills, strong communication abilities, basic IT skills, and flexibility to adapt to service demands. What youll be doing
Safely driving IC24 vehicles to transport Duty Doctors to home visits Supporting clinicians during domiciliary visits where required Welcoming patients and assisting with appointments and enquiries Maintaining accurate patient records and updating operational systems Communicating with Call Centres and operational teams to support efficient service delivery Carrying out vehicle and equipment checks to maintain safety and readiness Supporting the smooth running of Primary Care Centres and Out of Hours services
About you
Youre calm under pressure, reliable and confident communicating with patients, clinicians and colleagues. You understand the importance of professionalism, confidentiality and patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
This role would suit someone who:
Has excellent driving skills and holds a full manual UK driving licence, and is comfortable driving both manual and automatic vehicles. Communicates confidently and compassionately with a wide range of people Is comfortable using IT systems and recording information accurately Can work independently while supporting a wider operational team Is flexible, proactive and able to adapt to changing service demands

Flexibility to work across other IC24 bases within reasonable travelling distance where required.
Hours Available:
9.6 hours per week
Shifts may include evenings, weekends and bank holidays in line with service requirements.
