We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and inspiring Theatre Charge Nurse to join our friendly and highly dedicated team.
We have 23 Theatres covering a wide range of specialities, offering lots of learning opportunities within a very supportive environment.
The successful candidate is expected to work in Orthopaedic and trauma theatres and will be expected to support General surgery theatres when required.

Main duties of the job
You will be required to support the Clinical Leads, Matron and Theatre Manager in the general management at unit level and in the management of all theatre areas, ensuring the team is dedicated to delivering excellent care, throughout the patient's journey.
Be flexible in the approach to the clinical area and provide additional support when required for any other specified area within Theatres.
You will be responsible for promoting and developing the concept of one department, sharing the workload through teamwork.
You need to be visionary and dynamic to assist the Clinical Leads, Matrons and Theatre Manager in driving the team forward in a rapidly changing environment, to assist in developing and supporting junior members of the team.

Significant Post Registration experience within an operating theatre Advanced knowledge in at least one specialty
