Provide highquality, patient centred care through both face to face and telephone consultations
Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, co-ordinated care
Support the training and development of GP trainees, medical students and other clinicians
Contribute to the care of patients with complex needs, including those experiencing homelessness and substance misuse challenges.

With a list size of around 10,700 patients, we provide high quality, accessible primary care from modern, purpose built premises leased by the Local Health Board.
Our multidisciplinary team includes GPs, paramedics, pharmacists, nurses, Cluster DSNs and administrative staff who work collaboratively to deliver holistic, compassionate care. We have a strong teaching ethos and regularly support GP trainees, medical students and other learners.

Job title: Salaried General Practitioner
Reports to: The Partners (Clinically)
The Practice Manager (Administratively)
Hours: 4-6 sessions
Job Summary:
The post-holder will work as part of a team, dealing with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered patients.
Clinical Responsibilities:
Conduct surgery consultations, telephone consultations, home visits and manage admin results, prescriptions, correspondence.
Making professional, autonomous clinical decisions in relation to presenting problems.
Assess, diagnose and manage a broad range of conditions
Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
Referring to other care providers as appropriate.
Recording clear and accurate consultation notes to agreed standards.
Support audits and quality improvement.
Compiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions.
In general; the post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.
Other Responsibilities within the Organisation:
Follow all practice policies (prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health & safety
Commit to ongoing learning and evidencebased practice.
Participate in audits, clinical standards, and training events.
Contribute to the training of GP trainees and medical students
Confidentiality:
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient, staff, and organisational information.
Share information only with authorised individuals in line with policy.
Health & Safety:
The postholder will lead and implement all aspects of health & safety and infection control in line with practice policies and procedures.
This will include (but will not be limited to):
Adhere to and promote practice H&S and infectioncontrol policies.
Use PPE correctly and ensure others do the same.
Manage infectioncontrol procedures, including during outbreaks.
Handle sharps, specimens, waste, and equipment safely.
Identify and report hazards promptly.
Maintain clean clinical areas
