We have an exciting opportunity for a Substance Misuse Healthcare Assistant to join our Substance Misuse team at HMP Thameside, a category B prison located in London.

HMP Thameside is a busy male resettlement prison with a capacity for 1232 inmates. We are recruiting for a Substance Misuse Healthcare Assistant to support the wider healthcare team. Hours

You will be required to work a mixture of days, nights and weekend shifts. 28.5 hours per week.

Rota basis monthly.

0930 1800 - 9.5 hours days

2130 0745 - 11.25 hours nights

Salary This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £32,134 per annum

Main duties of the job As a Substance Misuse Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. You will

Support the registered nurse in implementing an agreed plan of care in association with the patient and in accordance with instructions and training received whilst promoting safe patient care Be willing to develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.
