Main duties of the job The Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Clinical Practitioner at Operose Health will work mostly during weekends, performing 2 shifts of 11 hours each on Saturday and Sunday at the Summerfield Care Centre in Birmingham. The role is designed to contribute to primary healthcare by handling patient care, assessing them from history taking through diagnosis, treatment, and care evaluation. The job expects a candidate who can demonstrate clinical decision-making skills as well as expert knowledge in patient care, diagnosis, and assessment, within general practice settings. Working collaboratively with the general practice team is essential, along with supporting delivery of policy, procedures, and providing nurse leadership as necessary. You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.Ideal Candidate: What we look for in new colleagues:
Experience in a Primary Care setting. NMC registered nurse with advance clinical practice tor working towards non-medical prescriber. Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor standards of care It is preferred that the ideal candidates is a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or a MSc course to ACP status may also be considered. Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
Experience in a Primary Care setting is required along with being an NMC registered nurse. Candidates should possess advanced clinical practice skills or be working towards non-medical prescriber status. A minor injury and illness qualification is essential as well as the ability to maintain and monitor standards of care. The preferred candidate should be a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, though candidates with accreditation or enrolled in an MSc course to ACP status can be considered.
