Main duties of the job As a Complex Care Assistant at the Libertatem Healthcare Group, you will join a dedicated team to provide exceptional care to clients with specific needs. The role requires you to be compassionate, calm, and positive, supporting an active young boy who appreciates interaction and fun. Shifts run from 08:00 to 20:00, Monday to Sunday, and include working on a zero-hour contract. Your responsibilities will include providing tracheostomy care, oral and tracheal suctioning, and managing dystonia and seizures. Additionally, you'll engage the client in their interests, including sensory lights, massage, music, storytime, and outdoor walks when the weather permits. The position seeks experienced carers equipped with complex care skills who aspire to make every shift significant. You will receive fully paid training and ongoing support from the Clinical Lead Nurse, with opportunities to further upskill in complex care aspects.
