Our Outpatients Call Centre, based at Basildon Centre, St Martins Square offices are on the second floor of the building which is situated in the Town Centre of Basildon.
Upon appointment you may be expected to work in one of the main site hospitals (Basildon, Broomfield or Southend) for training and learning purposes, with you then moving to the office in Basildon Town Centre once competencies have been met.Please note the interview assessment day will be held on Friday 19th June 2026
Main duties of the job
As part of the central booking team, you will be responsible for booking both new and follow up appointments across Basildon, Broomfield and Southend.

Essential Essential
GCSE Maths and English or NVQ level 2 clerical or equivalent experience
Experience Essential
Demonstrable experience in customer / patient focused role Experience of working in a busy, pressurised customer focused environment
Desirable
NHS experience Experience in use of PAS Careflow and the electronic Referral Service
Skills Essential
Computer literate - able to use Microsoft Packages effectively Good written communication skills demonstrated through application form
