Job summary
We are recruiting for a Lung Nodule Pathway Coordinator who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
To prepare, organise and facilitate the Lung Enhanced & Nodule Pathway MDT meeting to ensure that all relevant information is available for discussion.
To set up and participate in MS Teams MDT and record all outcomes. To undertake these duties without direct supervision, working within broad procedural guidelines.
In addition, you will receive a High-Cost Area Supplement of 5% of your basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £1,346and a maximum payment of £2,270per annum pro rata.

Main duties of the job
To provide administration support for the multidisciplinary teams.
Post holder will work closely with clinical teams, and cancer services.
Responsible for ensuring that all patients on the enhanced cancer pathway are proactively tracked thorough the appropriate patient pathway from point of entry.

Qualifications/Training Essential
Educated to minimum GCSE level or equivalent Customer service or administration qualification
Previous Experience Essential
Demonstrates having met deadlines involving high volumes of data within strict timeframes Experience of working within the NHS and previous experience managing patient pathways including Cancer pathways. Proven use of MS office packages and Trust Packages, Lorenzo, ERS, iCris. Strong Understanding of Cancer Pathways and Guidelines
Desirable
Working within a team Previous experience of working within a healthcare environment or with healthcare professionals. Understanding complex and sensitive information
Skills Essential
Excellent verbal/written and interpersonal skills Medical Terminology Excellent typing, keyboard skill Methodical and able to prioritise own workload Ability to adapt to change Ability to work well under pressure Confidentiality and sensitivity of approach Demonstration of analytical skills Computer literacy and numeracy Able to show situational awareness and application of good decision making
