Strathmore Renal Unit was opened in 2025 as an extension of the services provided by the Renal Department enabling renal patients living in Hertfordshire to have their treatment closer to their hometown.
The Strathmore Renal Unit is providing an environment with state-of-the-art IT systems and equipment. Post holders will be trained in the delivery of high-quality patient care in a dialysis setting.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the care of patients undergoing dialysis, assessing individual patient care needs.
Develop, implement and evaluate plans of care for a group of patients dialyzing at an in-centre or at our satellite units in accordance with agreed policies and professional guidelines.
In the absence of senior staff, taking responsibility for the delegation and supervision of appropriate work to other qualified staff, healthcare support workers and students. To work flexibly to meet the needs of the service and participate in the haemodialysis on-call rota.
