Job summary
Churchview Surgery is looking to appoint a salaried general practitioner to join our well-established, high achieving practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to work part-time giving the flexibility and freedom to work in other areas with the possibility of extending employment and increasing working hours in the future.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and innovative GP with strong clinical skills to join our small, friendly, GMS/EMIS practice.
Main duties of the job
Deliver a mix of routine and urgent GP consultations, including face-to-face, telephone and home visits as appropriateCarry out appropriate referrals, investigating and prescribingEnsure safe and effective clinical decision-making and safety-nettingManage a wide rang of chronic and acute conditionsMaintain accurate and timely clinical recordsParticipate in clinical meetingsWork collaboratively with the whole general practice team
About us
We are a fully computerised (EMIS system) practice, able to offer face to face, telephone and video consultations to its 6100-practice population as well as home visits to our housebound population.We all work closely together ensuring a positive, open and friendly dynamic. We are a progressive, forward-thinking practice who promote new ways of working and develop new ideas moving forward.

Location
We are based in the little quaint town of Old Hill which is easily accessible via public transport.
The practice is based in a modern, purpose built, single storey building which was built in 1989.

Qualifications Essential
Qualified GP GMC registered general practitioner
