About this role

Job summary

Due to continued practice development and increasing patient demand, we are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team at Westbrook Medical Centre.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a well-established, forward-thinking practice caring for approximately 10,000 patients. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality patient-centred care within a collaborative and welcoming environment.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will undertake the full range of general practice duties, including:

Routine GP consultations

Telephone and online consultations

Home visits where appropriate

Participation in practice meetings and clinical governance activities

Supporting the ongoing development of high-quality patient services

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

Fully qualified GP with current GMC registration and licence to practice Included on the NHS Performers List Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Good organisational and time management skills Commitment to professional development and clinical governance

Desirable

Experience using SystemOne Interest in service development or a clinical special interest Experience supervising or teaching trainees/students Understanding of QOF and wider NHS primary care priorities
