Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, with contribution to lates, Saturday and on-calls on a rota basis

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Pharmacist with experience in Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) & Medicine to join our "outstanding" Pharmacy Team at the London Bridge Hospital, as rated by CQC.
London Bridge Hospital is one of the UKs largest private healthcare hospitals specialising in complex and acute care. Spread over three main buildings and five outpatient centres, it is home to a number of specialist units and teams across a wide range of disciplines including orthopaedic, spinal, digestive diseases, liver, hepatobiliary, renal, cardiothoracic, critical care, cancer and transplant services.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will be the Pharmacy lead for antimicrobial stewardship across the campus, participating in multidisciplinary AMS ward rounds, ensuring follow up of actions and recommendations and reporting data. Working closely with the consultant microbiologists and infection control team they will help to develop a culture that reduces hospital acquired infection (HAIs), supporting prudent use of antimicrobials, investigating incidents, aiding implementation of any new antimicrobial initiatives and leading on writing and review of antimicrobial policies via Micro guide.
They will provide a clinical service to our specialist medical wards including liver, transplant, critical care, oncology, cardiac and gastro wards and support the training of junior pharmacists in these areas.

As a key member of the pharmacy team, you will providehigh quality, patient focused, clinical pharmacy services which consistently meet the needs of all service users.
You willbe responsible forworking across all aspects of the core pharmacyservices which may include provision ofmedicines management, adviceand evidence-based practice to inpatients and outpatients, patientservices, riskmanagementand clinical governance.
You will be involved inthe continuousservice and professional development,auditand monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs).
As a Senior Specialist pharmacist, you willbe responsible forproviding clinical pharmacy services to highlyspecialisedor complex areas of medicine, including liver, transplant, critical care, oncology, cardiac and gastro wards. You will also be a key stakeholder forrelevantQuality Improvement Project(s) (QIPs)andwill be integral in providing training, education and mentorship topharmacists and technical staff.

Masters in Clinical Pharmacy Post graduate diploma/masters in clinical pharmacy or equivalent
