Job summary
We are seeking for a Community Child Health and Child Neurodevelopmental Specialist paediatrician to join our dynamic and friendly department at the Cheyne child development service.
This post is for a Community paediatrician especially with interest in Neurodevelopmental Disorders, Social Communication Disorders and Social Paediatrics. The successful applicant will join our team in providing excellent care to our local children and their families.
This post is for 6 PA to start as soon as possible for a 12 month locum position.
Main duties of the job
The post holder:
Will provide paediatric input for social communication assessments in the preschool social communication pathway and the school age social communication pathway
Will provide paediatric input for neurodevelopmental clinics within a multidisciplinary team
Will provide paediatric input for ADHD clinics both in terms and assessment and in terms of management.
Will provide paediatric input for Education Health and Care Plans
Will oversee rota scheduling for postgraduate doctors
Will contribute to and support the clinical governance programme of the Trust
Will contribute to the undergraduate medical teaching programme
Individual posts will also include specified roles from the Departmental job plan, to be discussed at interview.
