Job SummaryThis position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA DCDC.

QualificationsIn order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below Basic Requirements: Applicants must demonstrate on their resume that they have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. - Attention to Detail - Customer Service - Oral Communication - Problem Solving Qualifying Experience: To qualify at the GG-13, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, Qualifying experience is described as experience such as leading analytical reviews for cyberspace operations; or developing courses of action for crisis action planning; or integrating information security measures for strategic solutions; or providing technical assessments of cyberspace systems. Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience and/or selective placement factor(s) within the body of their resume. All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement.

Major DutiesLeads analytical reviews to resolve issues and define Cyberspace Operations roles, developing new concepts and authoritative recommendations for complex inter-related missions.Supports crisis action planning by leading projects pertaining to all phases, including mission analysis, course of action (COA) development, COA analysis, and plan development.Develops concepts of operations and courses of action. Coordinates with technical and military analysts to consolidate findings into complete products for senior leadership.Provides technical assessments of cyberspace operations. Identifies and tracks updates to ensure initiatives support objectives and address operational needs and identified shortfalls.Plans for the integration of information security measures and oversees implementation of solutions. Reviews work products for correctness and adherence to design concepts and standards.
