We are looking for an enthusiastic Salaried GP to become part of our collaborative and experienced multidisciplinary team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a GP seeking a supportive environment with manageable workloads, strong clinical leadership and flexibility. Main duties of the job

Provide high-quality, patient-centred general medical services to the practice population through routine and urgent appointments.

Assess, diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.

Undertake face-to-face, telephone and online consultations as required.

Prescribe safely and appropriately in line with local and national guidance.

Manage clinical correspondence, results, prescriptions and associated administrative tasks.

Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team including nurses, pharmacists and allied healthcare professionals.

Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records using the practice clinical system.

Participate in clinical meetings, practice development and quality improvement activities.

Contribute to safeguarding, clinical governance and patient safety processes.

Support continuity of care and promote patient wellbeing through evidence-based practice.

Job description Job responsibilities

A General Practitioner (GP) provides primary healthcare services to patients of all ages, diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, promoting preventive healthcare, and coordinating ongoing patient care. The GP works collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct patient consultations in person, by telephone, or online.

Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.

Prescribe medications and treatments appropriately.

Perform routine health screenings and physical examinations.

Provide preventive healthcare advice and health education.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records.

Refer patients to specialists or secondary care when necessary.

Monitor patients with long-term conditions.

Participate in safeguarding and public health initiatives.

Work collaboratively with nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and clinical standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

Medical degree (MBBS, MBChB, or equivalent).

Full registration with General Medical Council (GMC).

Completion of GP specialty training.

Valid license to practice medicine.

Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development.

Preferred Skills

Experience in primary care or family medicine.

Knowledge of electronic medical record systems.
