Job summary
Collingham Church View Surgery is seeking enthusiastic and motivated salaried GP, to join our friendly and forward-thinking team.
The successful postholders will work autonomously within their professional scope, delivering high-quality primary medical care to our registered population, in line with our PMS contract and NHS best practice.
Sessions are 4 per week, with potential to increase the number of sessions within the first year - competitive salary dependent on experience.
Main duties of the job
Undertake a range of general practice consultations, including face-to-face, telephone and AccuRx Total Triage Undertake home visits as clinically required (supported by the paramedic team) Deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred clinical care Manage acute presentations and long-term conditions Prescribe in line with local and national guidelines (within scope of practice) Support patients with health promotion, lifestyle advice and self-care Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records Work collaboratively as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team Participate in clinical audit, quality improvement and service development Participate in duty doctor / clinical triage rotas

Collingham Church View Surgery is a progressive, five-partner GP practice serving a semi-rural population of around 10000 patients from modern, purpose-built premises in Collingham.

We operate using SystmOne and AccuRx Total Triage, with 10-minute appointments to support safe, high-quality clinical care. The practice is part of the Wetherby Primary Care Network and actively engages in new models of care.

Clinical Duties

Process clinical administration in a timely manner, including: Referrals Results Repeat prescription requests Participate in MDT meetings and PCN working Support achievement of QOF and local contractual targets Adhere to practice policies, clinical governance requirements and NHS guidance
Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
GMC registered with a GP qualification. Included on the NHS England Medical Performers List. Commitment to continuing professional development. Ability to work collaboratively within a team. Demonstrates a positive approach to service development and quality improvement. Independent Prescriber. Experience working autonomously in primary care. Commitment to CPD and high-quality patient care.
