This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive, multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing outstanding, person centred care to patients and those important to them.
Main duties of the job
This post is offered on a full time, permanent basis, working 37.5 hours per week (part time hours would be considered). Our core working hours are 8/8.30am - 4/4.30pm.
Please note, the successful candidate will be an essential car user, therefore candidates must have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

The Senior Occupational Therapist will bring a solution focused, compassionate approach, working independently and as apart of our committed team, to support and build relationships with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams.
Senior Occupational Therapist role will bring:
Experience of working with palliative care, oncology, neurology, community or care of the elderly patients Sound knowledge and application of Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions To carry out independent and joint assessments of allocated patients and their families To provide high standards of holistic and individualised patient care, embracing the hospice's vision and values

Qualifications Essential
Degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy State Registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) Evidence of recent post registration education Member of Royal College of Occupational Therapy (RCOT) Current driving licence and use of a car

Appropriate palliative care qualification Leadership qualification Advanced communication qualification
