Working alongside the multidisciplinary team, you will provide day-to-day administrative support for the wards, including updating service users’ information, managing the ward diary, updating service users timetables and minute taking.

As a Ward Administrator you will be:
Supporting the ward managers and ward staff with general administration duties and providing clerical support where needed. Spending designated days on each ward. Maintaining and updating filing and record-keeping of electronic systems. Updating of information (primary nurse lists, ward posters etc.) Printing of paperwork/packs and ensuring wards have what is required for day-to-day tasks. General upkeep and organisation of nurses’ and ward managers office Scanning, archiving, and filing of completed clinical documentation. Covering Reception during periods of annual leave and sickness as required. Assisting with stationary ordering as required across the service. To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience within a similar role and/or environment. Knowledge of healthcare terminology Previous experience of typing up medical reports and patient discharge letters GCSE English, C or above. Where you will be working:

Pinhoe View is a new purpose-built facility where a range of mental health services are provided for adults with acute mental health conditions across two wards and eight individual flats. The 24-hour acute inpatient service is supported by a full multidisciplinary team, which specialises in the assessment, treatment and stabilisation of people suffering from a significant mental health episode and in crisis.
