Clinical Nurse Specialist - Colorectal / Upper GIWe are opening our 8th state-of-the-art SACT unit at our Guildford Centre and are growing our team of experienced Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialists, specifically in Colorectal / Upper GI.Deliver personalised care where it matters most.As part of our ongoing commitment to expanding access to high-quality cancer care across the UK, the new service will provide patients with access to a full range of essential cancer treatments including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and cellular therapy in a modern, purpose-built environment. The centre will also become a research centre, enabling suitable patients to access innovative drug regimes that may not be easily available elsewhere.This is a unique opportunity to work within a highly specialised oncology environment, delivering expert, compassionate care in a brand-new service.
Main duties of the job
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will act as a Key Worker for patients, coordinating care and providing expert clinical guidance throughout treatment. Youll work closely with consultants and the wider MDT to ensure a seamless, personalised patient experience.What Youll Do
Act as the primary point of contact for patients throughout treatment Deliver holistic assessments and personalised care plans Provide specialist advice and education to patients and families Run nurse-led clinics and support MDT decision-making Coordinate care pathways and support transitions between services Contribute to service development, audit, and quality improvement
