Job summary
Working alongside the Community Nursing teams, you'll help ensure the right clinical supplies are available at the right time, supporting safe and effective patient care.
You'll be part of a supportive service within City Health Care Partnership, helping manage stock for community teams across multiple bases. Your work will support clinicians to focus on patients, while also helping the service use resources well and stay within agreed budgets.
Main duties of the job
What you'll do:
Order, receive, store and distribute clinical stock across community services
Communicate regularly with senior colleagues and budget holders about stock levels, usage and issues
Monitor stock levels and update spreadsheets and electronic systems accurately
Prepare patient packs and ensure items are supplied correctly
Work with colleagues and suppliers to resolve queries, shortages and discrepancies
What we're looking for:
Experience of stock management, stores or administrative work, or transferable skills
Confidence using computers, including updating spreadsheets and databases
Clear communication skills and the ability to work with a range of colleagues
Good organisation skills and the ability to manage your own workload
A positive, flexible approach and commitment to confidentiality

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
Level 3 qualification in relevant subject or equivalent experience
Desirable
Level 2 Qualification in Computer Literacy e.g. OCR Level 2, ICDL
Knowledge Essential
Comprehensive knowledge of a range of routine administrative procedures. Knowledge of a range of Microsoft Word, Excel, use of email and databases.
Desirable
Analytical Skills Able to demonstrate an understanding of moving and handling techniques
Experience Essential
Previous experience of carrying out general stock management procedures Ability to evidence/demonstrate key values and behaviours in line with the framework e.g the Stock Management SOP
