Job summary
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Salaried GP (6 sessions per week) to join South King Street Medical Centre, with the potential for future partnership for the right individual.
This role is ideal for a GP looking to work within a stable, well-organised practice that values continuity of care, teamwork, and professional development. You will be joining an established clinical team where there is a strong emphasis on shared decision-making, peer support, and maintaining a manageable workload.

Main duties of the job

South King Street Medical Centre is a well-established, friendly and highly collaborative practice delivering high-quality primary care within Blackpool. Our team includes two experienced GP partners, 2 Salaried GP's, Nurse Practitioner, Pharmacist, Practice Nurses, a Primary Care Assistant, and a skilled and dedicated administration and reception team. We pride ourselves on creating a supportive working environment where every member of the team is valued and plays an integral role in patient care.
We are part of the Blackpool Central West Primary Care Network, working closely with two neighbouring practices. This provides access to strong professional networks, shared resources and opportunities to collaborate across a wider clinical team.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
Fully qualified GP with vocational training (MRCGP or equivalent) Current GMC registration with licence to practise and inclusion on the NHS Performers List Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective patient relationships Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively Good IT skills, with experience of primary care clinical systems (EMIS Web desirable) Professional, reliable, and punctual approach to work
