We are seeking a Health and Safety Officer for Kerry Farm Relief Services to work on various construction sites in County Kerry Key Responsibilities: • Maintain and implement Health and Safety management systems and conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards. • Deliver site induction, toolbox talks and training sessions to employees, subcontractors and visitors. • Develop and assist with compilation of Work Method Statements and Risk Assessments for the various sites. • Investigate all incidents, near misses and prepare detailed reports recommending corrective and preventative actions. • Ensure accurate records are maintained at all times including training, inspections and incidents. Support and advise the Project Managers/ Site Foreman on health and safety matters as required. Skills and Experience: • A relevant third level Qualification in Health & Safety • A minimum of 3 years proven construction site work experience • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to deliver training and safety briefings confidently to all levels of staff • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications • Full Drivers License Salary: €36,605 to €43,000 doe Employer: Kerry Farm Relief Services Working week: Monday to Friday; 39 hours per week.
