Role Overview We are seeking a motivated and technically minded General Assembly Operative to join our balcony build process line. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling balcony systems from a range of engineered components, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to strict safety and production standards. Key Responsibilities Assemble balcony systems using engineering drawings, components, and specifications Follow standard operating procedures to ensure right-first-time manufacturing Carry out quality checks throughout the assembly process Maintain a strong focus on health and safety at all times Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Maintain a clean and organised work area Essential Requirements Strong technical aptitude and practical skills Ability to understand and follow engineering instructions or assembly drawings Commitment to health and safety standards Good attention to detail and quality-focused mindset Excellent timekeeping and reliability Good communication skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Desirable Skills & Experience Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly environment Experience working with engineered products or structural components Familiarity with hand tools and mechanical assembly What We Offer Stable, full-time employment Supportive team-based working environment Training and development opportunities Consistent daytime working hours
