Join our dynamic team as a Staff Nurse in our evolving Emergency Village incorporating the Emergency Department and Urgent Treatment Centre at Fairfield General Hospital.
We are currently recruiting Registered Nurseswith proven experience gained post NMC registrationin both ourEmergency Department, and our Urgent Treatment Centre.
Our Emergency Department is a fast-paced, high-stakes clinical environment where urgent, unpredictable cases are assessed,stabilised, and treated by a skilled, multidisciplinary team providing immediate, life-saving care.
Our UTC comprises of a dynamic team providing high quality patient centred care to patients presenting with minor injuries and illnesses. This includes a variety of simple and complex presentations where you will gain extensive knowledge and skills to ensure patients receive timely assessment, treatment and care.

This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as a Registered Nurse and have knowledge of working in a high acuity area and dealing with the associated pressures gained whilst working under their NMC Registration.

This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as a Registered Nurse in the UK. Please note an NMC PRN PIN is not a full NMC PIN and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.

Person Specification
Qualifications & Professional Registration Essential
Registered Nurse with current NMC registration (Part 1 Adult / General Level 1 or 2) Degree / Diploma in Nursing studies or equivalent
Desirable
Further post graduate qualification in a related speciality
Knowledge, Training & Experience Essential
Proven post-registration experience Evidence of working within a high acuity area and dealing with the associated pressures Evidence of Continued Professional Development Able to work effectively as a member a multi-disciplinary team as well as independently Able to use reflective practice, to continuously improve the standard of patient care IT skills
Desirable
Previous experience of working within an Emergency Department ILS Certification preferred
