Main duties of the job
About the Role
As a Bone Densitometry (DEXA) Reporter, you will:
Provide expert image interpretation and formal DEXA reports, including treatment recommendations.
Deliver a high-quality reporting service aligned with IR(ME)R17 and radiation protection standards.
Work closely with referring clinicians, radiographers, and operational teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Support the continuous improvement of clinical standards and patient experience across MIP sites.
Contribute to education, training, and professional development within the imaging team.

About You
You will be a registered healthcare professional (HCPC or equivalent) with:
A BSc (Hons) in a healthcare or imaging-related field.
MSc or equivalent postgraduate training in Bone Densitometry Reporting.
Proven experience interpreting DEXA scans and providing evidence-based treatment recommendations.
Strong knowledge of osteoporosis management guidelines and radiation safety regulations.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a commitment to improving patient care.
Experience with PACS systems and clinical audit participation.
A laptop will be provided for this role.
